Alonso is quitting McLaren if the team are found to have used infomation from Ferrari? Perhaps it maybe so, but in My opinion, he might just be exploiting a loophole in the contract so that he can quit his team and be rid of Hamilton as his teammate once and for all. Not to mention him, but if I were constantly in a team where a rookie is humiliating you, I would want to get out of there asap as well.

Evidences for Alonso trying to put Hamilton on an unequal ground below him are plenty. Remember that time Alonso accused McLaren of giving Hamilton preferential treatment because Hamilton is British? Even if Hamilton were not British, Alonso would just come up with more excuses for his own poor performance. Possible example: Hamilton is younger, so the team would like to have the honour of producing the youngest F1 championship driver... or whatever else he can come up with. Anything but admit that he is losing out to a rookie. I tell you, he fights to preserve his face even more than a Chinese does. The Chinese are supposed to love their face as if it were their life! Alonso is probably worse... *rolls eyes*

Anyway, given his too-proud character, he would want to be in a team where he is the principal driver. Maybe he might go back to Renault. They would welcome him with open arms! Or not. Especially after he deserted them barely 3 months after he won his first championship. Shoo, Alo! Perhaps, Nobody wants you.

Yay!!! The new year is here!!! (albeit this being a little late for me to say this...) and there will be a new season! Raikkonen is in Ferrari! lol... and Alonso is in McLauren!! Good luck to 'Alo', but nevermind, he doesn't need it, he always has good luck anyway...

I can't wait for the new season to start...! and the FIA says that they will be setting up a street track right HERE in Singapore!!!! *almost faints from excitement* Oh boy, can't wait to watch that!! and they say that the street track could be incorporated into the race season from as early as 2008!!! *almost faints again* haha!! Ahh!! Can you imagine, actually seeing the real thing, and not in the tv? Alright, maybe it's a little like a zoo, where you go and see the animals that you usually see on tv, but anyway... ahh!! Oh my goodness, I get so fired up... haha...

Oh well, I suppose I am better than some girls... lol... some people that I know of say "EEEEEE!!" and just as you are thinking of what sort of thing could it be that has scared them so, they continue, "So cute!!" and they really make me feel like a Japanese anime character, the part where they faint... *shakes head*

Oh YES!!! And we mustn't forget about the CRASHES!! THE CRASHES!!! the best part of all!!! lol...! (Sorry, I'm a little bonkers today, just had choir practice, you see...) Can't help but think about the time when Narain Karthikeyan's two tyres were bouncing on the track!! haha!! I'm still laughing at that!(even though it's the second year now that that crash happened) and oh, the fun that it was... (of course, there were some boring parts of it, when they kept playing the same replay, so we kept seeing Karthikeyan's stomach, while he was getting out of his car)

Anyway, look forward to the new season, and here's to all other F1 fans! Yay!

Alonso is a bad loser. That is my conclusion after the big fuss that he kicked up after Sunday. Everyone meets up with bad luck in F1, and after him having such good luck for such a long time, I really think that it is high time that he should have some bad luck. In fact, that engine failure that he had on Sunday was the ONLY time he had an engine failure in THREE years!! Note that!! THREE!! Why in the world is he complaining...? Goodness knows how many engine failures Raikkonen had last year, and he didn't complain at all...!(at least, not that I know of...).

After Raikkonen for having an engine failure last year, Alonso said, "A race is 60 laps, not 30"(or something else to that effect), and just look how smug he was each time some bad luck befell Raikkonen...! Now, simply because he had a penalty, he starts to say that he is embarrased by F1. Well, he certainly wasn't embarrased by it last year...! If I remember correctly, he was completely delighted because he won the F1 drivers' championship!

He says, "In the end, the honest people win." I have to disagree with that. As everyone knows, he won last year. That certainly wasn't an honest win. I'm not saying that Alonso cheated, but it was certainly an unimpressive win that convinced very few people. Other than that, how can it be true that the FIA are twisting the races in favour of Schumacher winning, when Schumacher himself was penalised two times, the same number as Alonso...? If he is so unhappy and embarrased with the sport just because he thinks that he was penalised unfairly, why doesn't he just quit the sport? I'm quite sure that the critics of Alonso will be cheering at that. (that includes my brother, and now me, after his behaviour.)

I'm simply wondering very long and hard about why people think that Alonso is talented. In his biography on the F1 site's Hall of Fame, he says that he is just an 'ordinary guy'. Ordinary indeed, because he is too shallow to be able to take defeat easily.

I just think it's good decision of Raikkonen's to join Ferrari next year, and not Renault. Maybe he'll be able to finally win a championship...! hahaha. Waiting for that...

lol... I agree with my bro that McLauren should just pack up and go home, especially with the showing that they had yesterday. It's almost a world of difference compared to last year. The situation has got to this state now I think because they were overly dependent on Adrian Newey. Now, after he has 'run off', they can hardly come up with something that is race-worthy.
I believe though that there must be some other reasons why the car is slow. In any case, still the team's fault.

Neither do I support Alonso joining McLauren. Just goes to show how fickle he is, and I think Ron Dennis should know better than to employ a driver that is, indeed, World Champion last year, but won only because he was lucky(i.e. the car of his main opponent(which is who? Raikkonen!) kept breaking down). Perhaps Ron Dennis thinks that the team is low on luck, by employing Alonso some of the luck will rub off on them and they will have better luck? I think next year Raikkonen might just 'run off' to Ferrari. I won't blame him cos McLauren cars are either fragile or not fast enough. I seriously doubt if he can win any championship there. In fact, the last time a McLauren driver won the Driver's Championship was in 1998, won by Mika Hakkinen. Interesting. They hired a Finn, to replace a Finn!

I just realised yesterday that I somehow can predict the end of the race by looking at the first few laps of the race. Actually, everyone can do it too. Just whether the result is accurate or not. Alright, alright, I know it's lame, ok?

For those who think I am talking crap instead of discussing yesterday's results, indeed I am. I don't support either of the teams that are currently battling it out for the championships, so what do I have to say?

ahhhh!!!!! I actually MISSED yesterday's race!!! I can't believe it! On Sunday, I was happily watching tv and I didn't even NOTICE that my brother was gone to my grandfather's house to watch the race... aarrrgghh....*bangs head on wall* Got to do something about that short-term memory.

Anyway, my bro told me that there wasn't much overtaking. It does get rather boring at times when you only see cars going round and round the track without overtaking. When that happens, I suppose it's down to the team's pit-stop strategy. I do like crashes though... hahahahahahahahahaha... especially the more spectacular ones that require a deployment of the safety car. Sorry if you think I'm sadistic or crazy or anything.

It simply isn't worth making yourself get angry, after all, you watch F1 because it is a form of entertainment, is it not? If you're going to make youself upset after watching, what's the point of watching F1 then? So saying though, I concede that it's hard to control one's emotions, especially when there was something that happened that was particularly undeserving, whether positive or negative.

Well, since I have nothing to comment about, I shall just stop crapping here.

oooouuuucccchhh.... my mum has now officially banned me from ever going over to my grandfather's house to watch F1 on Sunday for the entire period of time when I'm having my mid-year... T.T

That was mainly because she saw me sneaking over to my grandfather's house to watch last Sunday. So, I suppose that I'm probably not going to be able to update this blog for some time except about the results, of which everyone can read anyway at the F1 website.

Anyway, last Sunday was pretty boring because I only got to watch the last 20 minutes, and I also had to do a maths practice paper at the same time... Only got to watch the back, when Schumacher and Alonso were battling it out. My brother was rather agitated at why Alonso didn't crash, 'but with his class of luck, he won't crash.' In any case, he was always very elated whenever Alonso ran wide. He says that this is Alonso's normal skill and that this is what will happen to him when he has normal luck. Personally, I do think that this is rather(forgive me) immature(but don't tell him that).

It was rather disappointing(for me at least) because there wasn't any exceptional show of driving from Raikkonen(my apologies to Ferrari and Renault fans). In any case, I predict that the constructor's standings at the end of the year are as thus:

1. Renault
2. Ferrari
3. McLauren
4. Honda
5. Toyota

Rather disappointing list for me, but the point is that I am a subjective person and I do admit that 2006 is definitely NOT a McLauren year. For now, I have to concentrate on my mid-year exams and the ever-drawing-nearer O-levels. SIGH... T.T

Button on pole. Okay, I think. But Button always qualifies quite well, but loses out in what my dad terms 'the big squeeze', so probably Alonso and Fisichella will get in front of him and they might just win the race. Not that I'm hoping for that, but the fact remains that Renault have a better car than they did last year, while McLauren has fallen back. BUT!!! I still feel that Raikkonen is the fastest driver around. In fact, a poll on the Formula 1 site last year showed that most people felt that if the three drivers Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso were to race in the exact same conditions, Raikkonen would be the fastest.

My brother was pretty much in a storm the week before last because both the Renault cars won in Sepang. More specifically, he's upset that Alonso finished in a good position. He is so against Alonso that he is even supporting Nico Rosberg in the hopes that he will break Alonso's record of being the youngest pole setter, youngest to win a race and the youngest to win the championship. Well, personally I think it's a bit immature...(don't let him see this)

They say that it will be an exciting race tomorrow. Well, I don't know. With less than 17 hours(hahaha) to the next race, all I want to do is just watch and I suppose we shall start to see who will be likely to win the respective championships this year. Hope the silver arrows win, they've had enough bad luck already as it is.
